Industrial Roller Shutters

Industrial Roller Shutters

Industrial roller shutter doors are ideally suited for heavy duty applications. Call County Installations Ltd for a wide range of roller shutters.

3-phase operation

The roller shutter door is raised via a 3-phase, 415 volt, electric motor utilising either a flange mounted chain and sprocket driven or via a direct drive outboard mounted motor. This type of shutter is usually operated via a standard up/down/stop (deadman) push button station mounted on the control panel. For high volume usage we can provide a 100% rated motor which is ideal for applications such as car parks, MOT stations etc. This door also has a manual hand chain override in the event of a power cut. If there is no 3-phase power available on site, there is a single phase, 240 volt alternative however, this motor has limited usage.

Single phase tube motor operation

The ideal roller shutter door for commercial buildings where the door is required to be operate a limited number of times per day.
The door can be operated via a rocker switch, a key switch or a remote control hand held transmitter.
This door also has a manual crank handle override in the event of a power cut.

Hand chain operation

Ideally suited to industrial applications  when there is no power supply available. The curtain of the door is manually raised via a continuous haul chain, on a hand chain wheel. This shutter comes with a lockable hand chain cleat to hold the chain in postion. It can be manufactured to an opening size of 6m by 6m.

Push up/Pull down operation

An economic roller shutter door is ideal for smaller apertures where the door will be opened or closed a limited number of times per day. The most common form of locking on this type of door is a double pin lock. The maximum weight of this shutter is 20kg.

Safety Mechanism / Anti Fall-Back Device

All of our roller shutter doors, apart from push up/pull down operation, are supplied with an anti fall back mechanism, either separate or integral to the motor, to ensure that the door cannot fall more than 300mm or out of balance, less than 200 newtons to comply with the latest regulations.
